Objective
To create visually stunning and effective designs that promote the exhibitions, events, and artists of a modern art gallery, and enhance the visitor experience.
Role: Designer
Responsibilities
Work closely with the gallery director and curators to understand the exhibition themes, concepts, and objectives, and to identify the most relevant visual and artistic references.
Develop a design concept that reflects the exhibition's identity, style, and tone, and that attracts and engages the target audience, whether it's local residents, art enthusiasts, or collectors.
Create a range of designs for various media, such as posters, brochures, invitations, social media posts, and website banners, that follow the design concept and that communicate the exhibition's key messages, dates, and features.
Choose typography, color palette, graphic elements, and imagery that complement the exhibition's artwork, and that convey its mood, atmosphere, and style.
Ensure that the designs are consistent with the gallery's brand identity, guidelines, and values, and that they maintain a high standard of quality and innovation.
Collaborate with printers, photographers, and web developers to produce the final products, and to ensure that they meet the specifications and deadlines.
Results
Created a series of stunning and effective designs that reflect the exhibition's identity, style, and tone, and that attract and engage the target audience.
